Hello, we are Phil & Colleen from Bay Area, California and we can’t wait to meet you! We’re grateful you’ve taken the time to get to know us & want to thank you for the opportunity to become adoptive parents. We have a wonderful community with great neighbors & a loving home. Thanks again for stopping by to meet us.
We fell in love in Philadelphia in 2013 and moved to San Francisco when we got engaged. We have been living in the Bay Area ever since and can’t wait to grow our family on the west coast. We spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities: hiking, skiing, swimming, corn hole, and grilling with our friends & neighbors. We travel as much as we can to explore & to see family which are both important to us. We work hard in our respective careers but our most important job is yet to come, being parents.
Colleen is a kind and generous soul. She is my best friend and a loving wife. From our very first date, Colleen expressed her desire to be a mother and caregiver – it’s obvious that is her calling. Whether she is hosting neighbors and family or offering to babysit for them, Colleen is always ready and happy to serve. She has a seemingly endless amount of patience with children. I am amazed how easily and natural caring for children comes to her. I love her more than anything and I know she’ll be a wonderful mother and role model.
Phil is my rock. When we met I knew he was someone special. Phil is kind, dependable, patient, funny, & artistic. He always has a hilarious one liner to lighten the mood, knows way too much music & movie trivia, and plays both drums and guitar. Phil is a natural with children, likely because he is a big kid himself. I love losing track of him at a BBQ and finding him playing basketball on his knees with the little kids or watching him read to our nieces and nephew while everyone else is downstairs. He’s going to be an amazing father.
We live in a single family home with a yard and plenty of space for your baby to grow & play. We are fortunate to be part of a great community and are close friends with many of our neighbors. Our home is walking distance from over half dozen parks, our local pool, public library, our schools, the hospital, grocery store, movie theater, and downtown plaza. We love that we can do day and weekend trips to places like San Francisco, Tahoe, Napa, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Palm Springs, Yosemite, etc… just by hopping in the car.
We are fortunate to have all four parents, two brothers, a sister, three nieces, and a nephew. While we only see them a few times a year, we are always on FaceTime to stay in touch and watch our nieces & nephew grow. Christmas is when we are able to see them as well as our large extended family. It fills are hearts with so much joy getting together with everyone and watch our nieces, nephew, and all our cousins’ children running around with multiple dogs underfoot – its always loud & chaotic there is so much love its amazing!
