Our Life Together

We live in Fairfield, California and met through a mutual friend in 2008. There was an instant connection between us due to our shared love of movies, anime, and Disney. The more time we spent together, the more we realized how much we have in common. Even in the beginning of our relationship, we would regularly find ourselves completing each other’s sentences. It didn’t take long for us to move in together, and we have been living our happily ever after ever since.

We are homebodies, but we love going to local festivals, fairs, and vacationing at Disneyland.

About Laurie, by Henry

Laurie is a caring little spitfire, with a dry sense of humor that often lands with both a chuckle and a groan. Her sense of adventure takes us to local festivals to support local businesses, the State Fair to check out the arts and crafts on display, and always to the Renaissance Fair where we have befriended our favorite knight. We have always wanted children, and children love Laurie. Laurie has numerous interests and hobbies to share: sewing, reading, gardening, baking and all things Disney to name a few. Even after all these years, I still enjoy time spent with Laurie and eagerly look forward to our next adventure.

About Henry, by Laurie

I know Henry is going to be an amazing dad. He has such a large heart and is loving, caring, and attentive.

At his core he is just a big kid himself. He loves comic books, video games, robots, and Disneyland. Ever year we visit Disneyland, Henry plans and organizes the whole trip. What he enjoys more than going to Disneyland is sharing that experience with friends and family. When he is able to convince someone to travel with us, he always makes sure to help them plan to ensure they get the most out of their vacation. He is so generous and giving, and he is always thinking of others and will go out of his way to help those he loves.

I am excited to join him on the path to become parents and see him become the loving, devoted father that I know that he will be.
