Hello, we are Kranthi and Sai from Palo Alto, California. We appreciate you allowing us to share a bit of our life with you. Hopefully, it will help you picture our lives, our travel adventures and show you all the love & support you and your child will receive from us, our family & friends.
We are strongly committed to open adoption, as it is all about openness and honesty, the qualities to start an enduring relationship with you & your child.
Our journey began 12 years go, when we met in Cambridge MA, through our mutual friends. We immediately clicked because of shared interests in family values, music and travel. We are happily married for over 10 years, share strong family traditions and look to complete our loving family.
We both believe that love, family and traditions are a cornerstore of a strong family. It is what kept us together through our ups and downs and will continue for rest of our lives
Kranthi completed her Masters in Business Administration from New York University and before that she went to Arizona State University for her Masters degree. Kranthi today works for an international company where she has a hand in determining the profitability of the company.
Kranthi is someone who spends more time thinking about me and our family than she does thinking about herself. I remember when I got sick in Amsterdam, she dropped all of our plans, sought medicine in an unknown country and took care of me all night long. She didn’t even once complain about missing out on travel and fun. I knew then that she will be a great mother one day.
Kranth is patient, loving and cheerful which makes her a great mother to be. She inspires me to have a healthy lifestyle and believes in openness and honesty.
Sai completed his Under Graduate studies in Computer Science from University of Mumbai. Sai now works for a startup in San Francisco where he helps develop new products and take them to market.
Sai has a big heart and is great role model to look up to! He has a genuine interest in people, always taking the time to learn more about them. Sai is a big soccer fan and hopes to bring our child to soccer games throughout the world. His strong, organized and protective personality makes Sai a great father to-be and someone our children can rely on for support and stability. Sai strongly believes that a child needs a balance of nurture and structure to ensure their physical and emotional safety and security.
Our home is surrounded by diverse and friendly neighbors. During warmer months, we envision our child playing with neighboring kids in the backyard or numerous other parks nearby. They can also bike on kid friendly bike rides in our community. Our home is a place of love, and is calming and relaxing. The best part of our home is the living room, where we, our family and friends congregate over dinner or game nights.
We love our neighborhood so much that our next move is to a larger, beautiful and kid friendly home in the same neighborhood – just in time for growing our family. We cannot wait to decorate the nursery and fill it with love that it deserves.
Our extended family is truly amazing and even though they live in Mumbai, India, we keep very close contact with them.
Family reunions happen at least once every year and every meeting is filled with love and joy.
Our parents are excited to meet our child and I can assure you that they will spoil them with love and candy, but that’s what grandparents are for! We are fortunate to have very close friends in the Bay Area and New York, most of them with infants and toddlers, and it is a great support group. We often baby-sit their kids and have birthday parties and other reunions with the kids. We are proud that one of our closest friends has agreed to be Godfather of our child. We could not have been happier, because he will be a great role model and a mentor.
Together, we have many interests in common including experiencing new cultures via travel, outdoor activities such as biking or just playing a simple board game at home.
As part of our travels, we visited several countries in Europe like Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands and France. We also visited countries in Asia including Thailand, India, Japan and Korea. Through our trips we get to learn about so many different cultures and we want your child to experience the same.
We have several friends with young children, and we are fortunate to be able to spend time with our friends and their kids, like going on bike trails, swimming or just walks in the park.
We are very lucky in that our jobs are flexible, with a lot of time off for holidays and vacations, which allow us to spend a lot of time with each other and with our friends and families. It will also afford us the flexibility while raising our child.
We come into open adoption with an open heart and an open mind, and we welcome you to be part of our family. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and we look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.
Please feel free to contact us so we can begin this journey together.
