We are Stephanie & Gerald. We are a married couple living in San Jose, CA who has been together for 15 years.

Our Life

Stephanie is a School Psychologist who works with special needs children in middle school. Gerald works with media companies for Microsoft. We love to laugh and surround ourselves with our strong network of friends and family. We often host a variety of parties, from casual dinners to large celebrations with loved ones. We love to travel and explore new cities and to visit family. You will often find us enjoying the magic of Disneyland, lounging on a beach in Hawaii, or visiting our family in Dallas or Vancouver.

Our strongest asset as a couple is to show our love and care to those around us and to share our blessings. We hope to create a loving and supportive home to raise a strong and independent child who can explore and discover who they are.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We hope to get the opportunity to get to know a little more about you.

About Gerald

Gerald grew up in northern California and received his BS in Computer and Electrical Engineering from UC Davis. He has worked a majority of his career in film, developing software for visual effects and animation for companies such as Pixar, Industrial Light and Magic, and now Microsoft. He enjoys mentoring both new graduate engineers and colleagues looking to transition from film to technology. In his free time, he loves working on cars, playing board games, or toying with the latest gadgets. When friends are over he loves to grill, toss around a football, baseball or kick around a soccer ball. He’s a big kid at heart who is looking forward to fatherhood and will bring that sense of wonderment and joy to a child’s life.

About Stephanie

Stephanie was raised in Northern California as the eldest of three siblings. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Counseling from Cal State East Bay. She is a school psychologist at a middle school, where she works with children with special needs and develops individualized learning programs. Through her work, Stephanie is able to help students identify and develop skills to enhance their learning. She is also able to provide emotional support to her students, which she finds extremely fulfilling.

When Stephanie is not working with kids, she is hosting family and planning holiday get-togethers. She is always thinking about how to spend more time with those she loves. Her hobbies include CrossFit, cooking, sewing, and all things craft related! Steph’s passion is making everyone feel like they’re family and she looks forward to growing her family through open adoption.

Our Home

We live in a small town on the border of San Jose, California. Our 5 bedroom house was recently renovated inside and out and sits on a family-friendly lantern-lit street. We love hosting family and friends for dinners, holiday gatherings, and movie nights in the backyard.

There is a park down the street from our home, where we play tennis and take walks. When we’re not home lounging and watching Disney+ or playing board games, we travel around the entire Bay Area visiting family and friends, going to farmer’s markets, and trying new restaurants of varying cuisines.

Our Wish for You

We are so grateful that you took the time to read our profile. You are so strong and amazing, and we are really looking forward to getting to know the dreams that you have for your child.
