Our hearts are filled with gratitude that you have chosen to get to know us as you consider adoption for your child. We are excited to expand our family through open adoption. Our home is always alive with laughter, curious conversations, and celebrations of life’s happy moments. We find immense joy in nurturing the bonds we share with our families and friends. When we’re not walking in the woods with our dog, Milo, you’ll find us playing games, having fun with friends, or trying a new hobby. We can’t wait to share our lifelong curiosity, passion for exploration, and comedic fun with a new addition to our family. About Charlie, by Taylor

Charlie lives to experience the world and everything in it. You’ll often find him reading in other languages about the natural world, its people, its history, and everything in between. He also loves to cook in the evenings, play his Irish fiddle, and inspect galaxies with his telescope. But, what truly makes Charlie special is how he makes you feel when you’re with him. He wants to know you and discover what matters to you. No matter who you are or where you’re from, he supports you. Charlie is the greatest of friends and partners, with an easy laugh, ears that love to listen, a grin to melt away any sadness, and a big heart ready to be a dad.

About Taylor, by Charlie

Taylor’s love of science is barely overshadowed by his joy at sharing it with others. A former researcher and educator, he loves teaching and helping young people learn about the world around them. His genuine curiosity keeps him always on the lookout for his next project or adventure. In his free time, he designs and plays games, goes on long walks in the park with our dog Milo, and works on his latest art project, but he’s always up to spend quality time with friends and family. His patience, kindness, and curiosity are endearing qualities that will make him a loving and nurturing father.

Our Home

Our home is in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood full of redwoods and charming houses nestled in the Bay Area hills. Our neighborhood is home to a wide diversity of families with young children who play together and are excited to welcome a new friend. Down the street is our local school, cozy library, and our favorite regional park that is complete with forested trails, a lake to swim in, a petting zoo, and even a mini forest train ride for kids.

Our Extended Family

Whether we travel to see them or they come to see us, we spend lots of time without immediate and extended families (Taylor’s parents are each one of eight children!). We are very close to our immediate families and jump at the chance to see them. Also, our nearby group of friends really are as close as family and we spend most weekends with them sharing meals, having fun, and making memories. Now that they’re all having children the joy and fun just keeps growing.
