We’re really hopeful about open adoption because family and community are important to us. We have a lot of people in our lives who we think of as family, whether or not we’re related by blood. We believe a big part of family is deciding to build something together. We hope that together we can build a unique and supportive family for a little one. We live out on a big ranch in the Bay Area. We moved here because we loved the idea of a child growing up with the diversity and culture of the Bay Area, and also with a strong connection to plants and animals.
