About Ashton

Ashton grew up in Kansas City in a loving, supportive family with one sister. She graduated from Kansas State University and moved to San Francisco. Throughout her life, she has valued loyalty, optimism, and grit, and her experiences have helped her approach relationships with honesty. Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, learning new languages, and reading. She loves exploring the world and embracing challenges with a positive outlook, and she is excited to share her love, energy, and curiosity with a child.

About Michael

Michael was born in San Jose, California, with his parents and three siblings. He had an active, happy childhood filled with sports, family trips, and close relationships with his siblings, which remain strong today. He has always been entrepreneurial and enjoys taking on new challenges, which has led him to start his own business. He enjoys cooking, playing golf, skiing, boating, and spending time outdoors. He finds peace and perspective in these activities. He’s excited to become a father with Ashton and to share his love, curiosity, and sense of adventure with a child, while creating a warm, supportive, and fun-filled home.

Our Home

We live in San Francisco, California, a vibrant city full of culture, history, and outdoor spaces. In our home, we especially enjoy our living room with large windows and plenty of natural light, where we love hosting friends and family, building Lego sets, and painting. We’re close to both the ocean and nearby mountains, which makes it easy to enjoy hiking, beach days, and skiing. San Francisco also has an excellent school system, which is an important part of our plans for our child’s education.

Our Pets

We share our home with two Goldendoodles, Cooper, age 9, and Burgundy, age 5. They are gentle, affectionate, and friendly toward visitors. Our nieces love spending time with them, and we know they will be wonderful companions and enjoy a new little one to play with.

Our Loved Ones

We come from close, supportive families, excited to welcome a child into our lives.

We have siblings and remain very close with them, as well as with our parents and step-parents. We are godparents to our niece and to a cousin’s daughter, whose mother is also adopted. Our extended family and close friends are a big part of our lives, and we spend a lot of time together. We host casual dinners, celebrate holidays, take beach trips, play golf, go on hikes, and spend weekends exploring different parts of the Bay Area. We’re a very social, community-oriented group, so there’s always something going on-game nights, backyard BBQs, birthdays, or just hanging out with our nieces and nephews. Our circle is loving, supportive, and excited to welcome a child into it.

We look forward to sharing this loving, supportive village with a child.

We look forward to exploring the world and providing fun, laughter, learning, and experiences that help a child to find what they love most. Family, kindness, and respect are at the heart of our values, and we hope to share traditions like holiday celebrations, family game nights, and outdoor adventures. It is important to us that a child grow up always knowing and feeling proud about the huge amount ot love that went into your decision of adoption.
