About Vicki

I love reading, cooking, playing drums, and staying active. I enjoy taking on new challenges, both professionally and personally, and pride myself on being dependable and compassionate. My friends describe me as warm, open, and a little goofy. My community is important to me, and I’m always learning how to grow and be the best version of myself for the ones I love.  I look forward to creating a loving, nurturing, and inclusive village for your little one so that they grow up always knowing the love that went into your decision. I am ready to nurture, love, and encourage a child to enjoy and be curious about their environment and all the possibilities they can achieve through reading, exploring, and creative projects.

About Lee

I love my friends and family, my dogs, Jiu Jitsu, fishing, and just generally being active. I pride myself on being a problem solver and a lifelong learner. Friends of mine describe me as funny, genuine, and loyal. I am patient, kind, and look forward to showing a little one the world around them. Exploring, experiencing fun activities in nature, and finding out if they can love JiuJitsu as much as I do is what I look forward to as a dad. I also can’t wait for those times together of reading, learning a new game, riding a bike, or supporting them through the growing pains of life. I am going to be a present and active father for the child I will raise.

Our Home and Community

We live in Livermore, CA, on a peaceful street just minutes from parks, great schools, and a charming downtown. Our home is cozy and has the perfect amount of space for a child to grow up in. We have a spacious backyard perfect for playing, family gatherings, and future campout sleepovers! Our front yard is a welcoming place for neighbors and friends to gather. On a Saturday, you’ll find us hanging out there, with good food and conversation! With the beach and mountains just 45 minutes away, we also have endless opportunities for beautiful outdoor adventures that our dogs love!

Our Family

We are both fortunate to have our mothers nearby. They are energetic and look forward to being loving Nanas to a new little addition to the family. Vicki’s sister lives close by and will be a creative and supportive Auntie. Lee’s sisters live in Texas and are his best friends. We visit often and also routinely FaceTime with them.

 

Beyond family, we’re surrounded by a close-knit group of friends who we have known for over 20 years. They are a constant source of love and support for us, and they look forward to being the same for the little one who will someday join our family.

Our Pets

We have two rescue dogs that are highly intelligent and professionally trained. Lily is a 1.5 year old, German Shepherd Doberman mix. She is loving and independent.  Pretzels is a 2 year old, Blue Heeler mix. He is more dependent, preferring to be with and watch over his family. They will love having a new little human in the house for them to watch over and cuddle with.
