Hello! We are Destinee and Ryan. We are grateful that you are getting the chance to learn a little about us. Our hearts were always on adoption. We’ve now been married for over four years (together for 10 years) and are at a place where we are ready and prepared to become parents. We have built a stable and loving home to welcome a little one into where they will be loved and supported as they grow into their own unique self.

Loreto, Mexico. We have a timeshare here & enjoy relaxing by the pool.

All About Us

We met in 2013 through Destinee’s sis, who was Ryan’s coworker at the time. After doing things a few times with a group of friends, we had our first date just the two of us. We soon became regular fixtures in each other’s lives and two years later, Ryan surprised Destinee with a proposal in front of our family and friends. We were married after a long engagement, getting married on a beautiful fall day in wine country. We have a lot of fun together with our nieces and nephews going to local theme parks, swimming in our pool, and traveling every year to visit Ryan’s sisters who live in Oregon and Michigan. We also have a travel bucket list that includes Australia, New Zealand, London, Ireland, Bahamas, and various states. We look forward to sharing our love for adventure and travel with a child.

About Destinee, by Ryan

Destinee is one of the most hard-working people I know. She is dedicated to everything she puts her mind to, from work to marathons, to our marriage, and now our journey to become parents. She has an amazing, BIG heart full of care and love to give to others. She brightens my days and makes me laugh. Her biggest passion is being with her family, friends, and me.

Destinee enjoys training for marathons, bicycle rides, and triathlons. She loves to be outdoors, so o weekends if she is not training for an endurance event, then you may find her on our local hiking trails. She also enjoys finding us the newest movie or series to bingw watch together on the occasional weekend when we just want to cuddle up and relax.

I know Destinee is going to make a really good mom because she is kind, thoughtful, and patient. She understands the meaning of being dedicated and committed to not just herself and the goals she sets for herself when she runs, but also what it takes to be present and nurturing for those she loves.

About Ryan, by Destinee

My dear husband has a heart that is so open, loving, and caring. Our nieces and nephews flock to him to talk about video games or the latest cool thing that’s hit the market. I adore how much children gravitate to his youthful demeanor. He has this amazing way of talking with them that makes them seen and heard. One of my favorite memories is going to our friend’s daughter’s 2nd birthday party. Ryan was the only adult on the ground to play with all these 1-3 year-olds which they loved.

Ryan is a gaming nerd; he can tell you all the greats, what’s coming out, and what’s worth playing. He’s looking forward to sharing with a child his love for gaming and teaching them about his favorite ones. He is also a lover of reading, especially graphic novels & fantasy books. All the ways I’ve described show just a little about why I know he’s going to be a patient and loving dad. He’s going to be the kind of dad that will make children believe that they can grow up and achieve all that they want to be in this world.

Our Home & Family

We live in a large, diverse city in California with lots of nearby parks and theme parks. We live in a gated community that has a pool, tennis courts, and ponds to walk around. There are many families in the community and there’s always something to do nearby or thin a short walk. We also live in a good school district with both our parents living within 15 minutes from us. Destinee’siblings also live nearby, the furthest of whom lives about 30 miles away. We have three nephews and one niece. We get together with our local family as often as we can.

Meet Bandita!

She is a 15-year-old black cat that wanders around our place looking for us so she can find her cuddles for the day. She’s timid around others ,but is so sweet and loves to be pet/ She’s going to love having a little on in the home who can be an additional “cuddle giver.”

We have created a life where we now have a lifetime of love, family, and experiences to share with a child. We look forward to hopefully meeting you and hearing about your dreams and wants for your child. We have a lot of nerd-isms to teach a child while we love them as they grow into their own person.
