Meet Prasanth, by Lakshmi

“Prasanth” means peaceful in Sanskrit and true to his name, he is a calm, composed, and lovable person. During gatherings with friends or family, the kids run to him for bedtime stories or play games. He loves music and is a pretty good singer! You can hear him practicing some Indian classical tunes in the shower. He is a self-taught amateur piano player. He is a little geeky, which I love about him. Museums excite him! And he loves the Space industry. He enjoys watching history and science videos. His motto is “Service to mankind is service to God” and he volunteers regularly. HIS OPEN HEART, PATIENCE, AND LOVE FOR FUN IS WHY HE WILL BE A GREAT DAD.

Meet Lakshmi, by Prasanth

Lakshmi is a beautiful human being with tremendous patience. She is humble and brings so much life and joy to our relationship. She is loyal and takes time to check in with family and close friends. She loves plants and saved our garden plants from extinction! She enjoys sketching. She is a good dancer and dances with grace. She always volunteers to help out family and friends. She loves food and explores different cuisines and is proficient in cooking Indian recipes. She likes to try adventurous activities like kayaking, and zip-lining. SHE IS AFFECTIONATE, NURTURING, PATIENT, AND CURIOUS OF ALL THINGS. THIS IS WHY SHE WILL BE SUCH A LOVING AND CARING MOTHER.

Our Home and Community

We recently moved to LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA for work. Our home is a 2-bedroom 2-bath in a family-friendly building next to Cal State Long Beach. We have a great view from our patio and so much sunlight! Our neighborhood is a mix of ethnicities, safe and close to many parks, farmer markets and of course the beach! We also have a place in Fremont, California right next to an Elementary school. We love the diversity and things to explore in California. IT’S A GREAT PLACE TO RAISE A CHILD!

Our Extended Family

Prasanth’s brother lives in Arabia and his parents live in India. Lakshmi’s sister’s family and her Mom also live in India with a few cousins who live near us. We talk with our families often and also have a close-knit group of friends who live close by and have known us since college. We all come together as a community to support each other, get the kids together for fun, celebrate birthdays, and even go on vacations together. We guess you call them “our chosen family”.
