Meet Megan & Jason

We are so honored to share our story with you! We hope you get a sense of who we are, the life we’ve built together, and the people we love. Our life is full, sometimes messy, often funny, and always an adventure. Adoption is how we hope to grow our family. We’ve taken the time to understand what adoption means for everyone involved, and we approach it with honesty, respect, and openness.

We look forward to hopefully meeting you and sharing with you how kindness, empathy, stability, and inclusion are at the heart of how we live.

About Jason

I believe it’s important to focus on the good. I value spending time with family and friends and making the most of those moments together. I‘ve always played sports and enjoy being outdoors. I grew up playing basketball, track, golf, wrestling, football, tennis, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and more. These days, I’m more likely to take a hike or play frisbee golf with friends, in addition to still snowboarding, golf, and tennis when I can.

I know I would be encouraging, supportive, and provide a stable home to learn and grow. I’d offer my life experiences and perspective so they could possibly learn from my mistakes and successes. Lastly, I’d be fun!! We’d play all the games, sports, get dirty, and do it all again.

I work in corporate sales for professional services, and yes, it’s as exciting as it sounds!

It’s probably not what most people imagine when they think of sales. My job is really about being organized, managing relationships, following through on commitments, and helping clients solve problems. On the fun side, I get to attend events, dinners, and networking gatherings, so it’s not all emails and meetings!

About Megan

My husband, family, and friends. I love making a house a home, and I value being reliable, kind, and friendly to everyone. I really enjoy home projects, DIY, mini construction projects with my dad, photography, and traveling. We live close to our families and friends and regularly host them for a fun afternoon or evening with good food. I also love exploring new places!

Because I am curious by nature and love learning, I look forward to sharing that curiosity that comes with a sense of exploration. I will create a stable, loving home like the one I was raised in and be a steady, engaged, present parent. I believe in listening, nurturing, and taking the time to see the world through a little one’s eyes so they feel protected and safe.

I own a photography and marketing business. I feel incredibly fortunate to do what I love every day! I also value the flexibility that comes with owning my own business, allowing us to build a life that makes space for family.

Our Home

We live in a cozy, welcoming home filled with laughter, love, and peace. We can already picture building forts in the living room with a little one, celebrating birthdays in the backyard, and ending each day with stories and songs. Most importantly, our home is a place where a child will always feel cherished and loved. We’re surrounded by family, friends, and a supportive community. Our family-friendly town offers great parks, schools, a wonderful library, and community traditions that bring people together throughout the year. Jason is the family chef and loves to cook! Megan loves making everyone feel at home. Our backyard is one of our favorite places for BBQs, playtime, and making memories with the people we love.

Our Extended Family

We have a very large family on both sides and believe families can be built in many beautiful ways! Our own family reflects the various paths to parenthood, including biological, adopted, and medically assisted pregnancies. We also have been Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care. Our parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends are a constant part of our lives, and they are all excited to welcome a child into the family, respecting your child’s journey and the immense love in your decision.
